Ingredients

  • 400g AP Flour
  • 250g Butter, cubed
  • 1t Salt
  • 1t Sugar
  • 100ml(g) Ice Water
  • 20ml(g) White Vinegar

Steps

  1. In a food processor, combine salt, sugar, flour, and butter. Pulse until sandy.
  2. Turn on the food processor and using the feed tube, add the ice water and vinegar slowly to the dough.
  3. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and form into a rectangle.
  4. Press the dough into a thin rectangle (1/2") and fold in thirds.
  5. Rotate the dough 90° and press out again. Repeat 3 times.
  6. Let the dough rest and halve.

Dough will keep in the refrigerator or freezer (<-untested, but everyone says so).
